BROTHERLY LOVE
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 = Love is patient, kind, not envy, not boast, not proud. does not dishonor, not self-seeking, not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. does not delight in evil, rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
1 Corinthians 13:13 -14:1 = Love is the greatest.
Follow the way of love.
1 John 4:16 = God is love
And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 = whatever you do outside of love does not count
If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
1 Corinthians 13:8 = Love never fails
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
1 Corinthians 16:14 = Do everything in love.
Song of Songs 8:6-7 = for love is strong as death; Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot sweep it away. If one were to give all the wealth of one’s house for love,it would be utterly
1 Corinthians 8:1 = love builds up.
John 15:12 = This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
John 15:17 = This is My command to you: Love one another.
John 13:34-35 = A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
1 John 2:7- 8 = Beloved, I am not writing to you a new commandment, but an old one, which you have had from the beginning. This commandment is the message you have heard. Then again, I am also writing to you a new commandment, which is true in Him and also in you. For the darkness is fading and the true light is already shining.
1 Thessalonians 4:9 = Now about brotherly love, you do not need anyone to write to you, because you yourselves have been taught by God to love one another.
Hebrews 13:1 = Continue in brotherly love.
1 Peter 1:22 – We are to have a genuine love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from a pure heart.
Romans 12:10 = Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Outdo yourselves in honoring one another.
Romans 13:8 = We owe each other love
Be indebted to no one, except to one another in love. For he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.
Mark 12:28-31 = To love is the greatest and most important command.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’[a] 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] There is no commandment greater than these.
Romans 13:10 = love is the fulfilment of the law
Love does no wrong to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
1 John 4:7-8 = If you love then you are of God
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
1 John 4:11-12 = if we love one another Gods love is made complete in us
Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
1 John 4:20-21 = if you claim you love God but hate your brother you are a lie
Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. 21 And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.

2 Corinthians 5:14 = For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died.
